Stippling Portraits

Throughout the artwork, the artist manipulates the spacing of dots to generate distinct hues. As a general rule, the more dots the artist places, the darker the shade he or she will obtain. In stippling art, value changes can also be done by adjusting the thickness of the dots used (thicker dots are best for darker shades and vice versa).
